I've visited this place many times in my life. It honestly never gets boring. It's a miniature replica of my country, The Netherlands. I can imagine it's especially fun if you've visited a couple of famous buildings in real life before coming to Madurodam. You will recognize them instantly! There's a very nice souvenir shop with tons of little gadgets... More

It's always nice to bring all my guests to this park. They can see Netherlands a lot in 1 hour. And they are always so excited taking pictures every step they see other object. The miniatures are well made in detail, exact the same with the real one.

It was a random day out - we didn't buy tickets in advance or anything but it was worth while. A little train ride out of Amsterdam to the Hague and another bus ride to Madurodam and you're in this big little village where your inner child lets go. We had had tons of fun pretending to be giants, used... More

Madurodam is a wonder! Not only is it a memorial to the Dutch war hero George Maduro, who died in the Dachau concentration camp in early 1945, but also a tribute to the love of children, and to the respect and adoration the Dutch have for their country. At this mini Holland, one can marvel at all Dutch accomplishments, expanding... More

Visit mini-Holland and enjoy the different interactive modules. For the really little ones: there are two playgrounds (one for small children and for older children).

Surprisingly, I loved seeing Madurodam! You have to be ready to turn on your childlike sense of wonder, though. The ticket price isn't cheap, but I really haven't seen anything like it before. The trains, cars, boats make their way around the layout. The attention to detail is so impressive. I loved exploring the scenes and seeing both things I... More

I was there alone, with my friends and also with my boyfriend. It's really funny and there's full of activities and nice things to see. Everybody can enjoy the place. It's very nice for children and families. I loved it during Christmas time with lights and news.

This miniature country amazes me every time - it gives you such a good image about the different sides of the country. Specially amazing for kids, there are good explanations and it's simply just fun walking through it.

Madurodam is a miniature park. Great range of 1:25 scale model replicas of famous Dutch landmarks, historical cities and large developments. You can book the tour on line for tickets. I did not stay for after dark, but some of our party did and they said the lights and city effect were striking. It will take you about 2 hours... More
