Great for a walk
Apr 2021 • Solo
Fantastic park, located on the borders of Wassenaar and The Hague. Great for a walk, as I did. Unfortunately, the Japanese garden is closed due to COVID19 measures and will be closed for the rest of the year. If you get to chance to come back and visit, please do!

Such a great park right in the middle of a great town. Just a wonderful place to spend a day or two. Wandering walking it’s just a great place in the woods close to everything. Ans very few bikes

Convenient park and estate for lunchtime stroll & photoshoots
May 2019
An interesting, historic park and estate for a lunchtime stroll. There's children's playground, buxus structured style garden, long handmade fortification canal, picturesque bridges over the water, japanese garden and many walking paths (great among blossom in the spring).

Beautiful peaceful landscape
Sep 2019
When the morning is approaching is the right time to visit this area. Activities are still not so busy. Stroll on the edge of the small stream is very beautiful. Occasionally meet with a very beautiful mallard duck. And sometimes when lucky, then meet a cute flock again eating grass. Very comfortable seemed natural grace surrounds.

Nature within Den Haag
May 2019 • Couples
What a beautiful Estate. We spotted a coot sitting on a nest in the river. Goats, cattle around on the surrounding areas. Historical buildings to admire. I think it is open only certain times of the year. Visit the Japanese garden.

Formal Nobel estate with beautiful parks and Japanese garden
May 2019 • Couples
This mature north European vegetation where you find a beautiful Japanese garden (free of charge, only open in the month of may, provides you a leisurely walk through the different kinds of greens. You will even find a big German bunker, out of use of course and a great mansion where the Reichscommander, representative of Aldof Hitler held his household during the 2nd world war and skated on the frozen pond at the front.

good walking trails
Jul 2018 • Couples
the walking trails go through the forests of the hague area
perfect for an afternoon stroll or if you prefer bicycles, those routes are plenty as well, all the way to the coast or to nearby cities (leiden, katwijk, noordwijk)

Big park in the north east part
Dec 2018 • Friends
Langdoed Clingendael is a huge park in the north east part of the Hague. You can get pretty close to it, if you take bus 20 from Den Haag Central (upper level for buses) and take off on the last stop. The park has not much to offer but it has a few kinds of birds and herd of deer. You can even run in this park, it is not very populated by locals.

Lovely in summer
Nov 2018 • Family
This calm, and very green area of the Hague, is energizing and lovely. Good for families and couples that want to enjoy a quiet moment of peace together.
