Multimedia experience, not really a brewery tour
This is not really a brewery tour, more of a multimedia experience. It is a lot like the Heineken Experience in Amsterdam. You do walk through an enclosed catwalk at the end where you see the current brew house. The tour includes a beer to start, and another self-pour of the triple about 2/3 through the brewery. Don’t lose the coin the beertender gives you!

Not a bad way to spend a couple hours if you have the time and are in Antwerp. As this facility has modernized, what’s really impressive is how they have reused the space… nice bar, meat market, cheese shop with cheese production on site, bakery, and chocolate shop.

Not worth it
Aug 2021 • Family
There are no interactive activities. All the explanations are videos and they do not show the production process or anything about the factory. Also, covid measures were not followed. A big group was not wearing mask the whole activity and the staff was fine with that. The place was packed and although you could move through the rooms by yourself you had to wait to the groups before you. Too much waiting and watching videos.
Also, in one of the tasting there was no cups to use or beer to drink. We left without trying all the samples. Definitely, expensive for the kind of experience it is. Better go to a smaller brewery.

Nice way to spend an afternoon

Enjoyed the tour, and nice to have the tasters before and after! Nice outdoor seating for the bar to stick around for some nibbles and another beer (or two...). Staff was very friendly.

Really nice time
I booked the brewery visit as a surprise for my partner who loves beer. We weren’t disappointed. The girl at reception was really nice, we enjoyed the tour even more being alone as we arrived at 7pm.
The interactive visit was a lot of fun, and really educative. I would recommend the place for all beer lovers !

A perfect afternoon with culture, science, fun, beer, cheese, ham, chocolate, etc.
When you want to spend an alternative afternoon in Antwerp visiting the town brewery, with two free local beers, and enjoy afterwards the amazing tastes of cheese, ham, bread, beer in a fantastic setting, this is it! Just go and be amazed...

Awesome way to spend 2 hours in Antwerp
My husband and I stopped here on our way into Antwerp. The tour is self-guided, which made it perfect to distance yourself appropriately for COVID mitigation. The technology in the self tour was leveraged very well- infotainment at its finest. The beer was delicious too:m. Recommend staying afterward and getting some charcuterie from their cheese and butcher shop. The terrace is lovely on a sunny day.

Brewary visit

Very enjoyable visit. The interactive demonstration of how the brewary was started to how the beers are made was great. The bar staff were friendly and the beer even better.

Delicious beer! I could/did drink it all day...

But I really didn't need the brewery tour to enjoy it. That tour is cute but not my thing. You can buy a ticket online but then you still have to stand in the long, slow ticket line and show your bar code to one person behind the counter who will write (pen & paper) down the confirmation from your e-ticket and then print you another ticket to use to get into the exhibit. That person also serves you your first sample. So it's easy to imagine why the line moves extremely slowly. If I were in my 20's and just learning about beer, like absolutely everybody else at this brewery, I'd probably have enjoyed this more. My recommendation for adults is to stay in the city center and guzzle as much of this delicious brew as you can at the many comfortable bars here.

Wonderful visit to De Koninck
Feb 2020 • Couples
I booked this on Trip Advisor a week before we went in February. The experience was excellent. You go through an educational tour with a couple of free beers from the brewery. You can go at your own pace on the interactive tour. Once finished you end up in the historic brew pub. The staff was exceptional in the store and pub, and the beer was great. I would highly recommend this brewery if you’re staying in Antwerp. We stayed near Diamant & it was a 15 minute tram ride there and back. There are also a ton of different stores on the property. We grabbed cheese & bread from the stores in the square & could have gotten meat from the incredible butcher shop.

Thank you for your comment! Indeed, we designed an interactive tour so that there is no need to have a guide and everyone can visit at their own pace. We are happy that the experience pleased you as well as our partners' homemade products :)

Sunday ‘Brewery’ visit to ‘De Koninck’ Antwerp
Feb 2020 • Couples
We totally enjoyed our ‘Brewery adventure’ 👏. The tour was perfectly thought out by De Koninck.. We started with a warm welcome from the very pleasant girl on reception where we sampled our first taste of a glass of their famous beer ..we then carried out the rest of the well marked route through the brewery.. with well executed short films & fun explanations of the various beer 🍻 productions & also with the different types of cheeses 🧀 they can best be matched with. We ended our tour with a ‘Triple’ in the bar, (also included with the price of our entrance ticket) & some delicious cheese. Our visit concluded with a look around the shop where you can also purchase very nice gift packages & bottles to take home to enjoy. I am normally not a big beer drinker but thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our afternoon & would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting or living in Antwerp.

Thanks a lot for this positive feedback, Sarah! We are happy to read that the tastings really please the beer lovers as much as the ones who are not used to drink.
