Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was the first museum I came across in Waterloo the staff here where extremely helpful as this is where you can buy a ticket for all the museums relating to Waterloo and also can buy the pass for the W bus which links to them all.

I was here when visiting the Lion's mound. They were very helpful and offered me the all inclusive day pass to this monument and all in the surrounding areas. All done in a day's work! I highly recommend a visit.

Called in to the office to find out what was in the local area. The lady there was extremely helpful explaining how to drive to each place and the best value ticket to see all the attractions. You can buy a combined ticket for 22Euros which gives you entry to The Lion Mound, Memorial Museum, Panorama, Hougemont, Mont-Saint-Jean, Wellington Museum and Napoleons last HQ museum. This ticket is valid for one visit to each place but can be used anytime within ONE year !!
She also gave us various maps and information on everything as well as giving us details of trains into Brussels and what to see and do there.
All in all very helpful. Spoke good English too !!

This was the ideal starting point for someone without much knowledge of the Waterloo region. The tip is to get a combined ticket that includes admission to the Wellington Museum (opposite), the Memorial 1815 and Mont-St-Jean - not expensive at all at 16 Euros! The very pleasant and helpful lady provided all the relevant advice especially in regards to the times of the local buses and and location of rail stations - remembering that this site is only 20 kms from the centre of Brussels. Do not forget the old farm house at Mont-St-Jean which was the site of the makeshift hospital during the Battle of Waterloo - great medical museum and even has a craft brewery attached!

Good tourist office in centre, speak English. Maps, guides and suggestions. A small museum of its own. Buy a combined ticket if visiting more than one museum to save money.

Popped in here to ask about attraction tickets. Young lady on the desk was extremely helpful and explained in English the main attractions and provided a leaflet marking out directions. Also loaned us a disc to let us use the car park behind the office. First class.
