Nicknamed "Brussel's Oldest Citizen," this bronze statue of a little boy and a fountain was designed by Jerome Duquesnoy in 1619, and has become a familiar (and irreverent) symbol of the city.

Quite crowded but we heard a few stories about how this is quite iconic in the city Of Brussels. There were talks of how it was stolen a few times and the government or some entity changes its clothes every so often. We saw it...More

I have occasionally wandered by on the way to somewhere else and if it wasn't for the crowds you wouldn't notice it. it is easy to get to if you are near the Grand place near some decent bars.

This small statue is very famous here in Brussels. It's small but attract many tourists attention and promoted every where. Actually it's only a small statue. Many shops and eateries nearby though.

Can we go diving on the bar reef from here? How long is the journey car/boat ride to the reef? Would we need to book with a dive company in advance? (December visit) Many thanks
