Architecture is just conceit of glass and stone. Organized promotion, flags, inscriptions, shops and guided tours in different languages are not enough to show European unity and to hide bureaucracy. Too many people work for themselves and not for ordinary people. Armed guards as in Beirut and Syria are not sign of good politics. Politicians push their heads in sand... More

The staff are soooo friendly and helpful. The visitor centre is free to enter and is full of information. You go around with a headset that can connect to the different parts of the centre. They have kid-friendly bits too, and lots of interactive sections. Plenty of seats. The whole place is pretty amazing to look at. Very modern. The... More

As a visitor centre this is excellent, however it skirts over some of the more questionable issues within the EU. It's a long walk from the city centre but worth it-take your passport if you want to see the hemicentre.

Modern, quirky and well worth a visit. Audio guide is good. How much you look at or take in is up to you.It is all presented in a colourful interactive way, with touch screen tables to select your areas of interest. There are 'barrels on wheels' you move about to highlight areas on a huge floor map and a well... More

Worth seeing to visit something so important and influential. However, it's arguably a dated and unattractive building. There's not a huge amount to see or do so perhaps plan to visit it en route to elsewhere, for example Leopold Park which is just close by.

If you like politics are have an interest in the EU then this is worth a visit. It's not a big museum and you get a little headset when you go around so you can hear more information rather than read it about the history of the EU. If you are British it is all the more interesting as you... More

At the time of my visit I wasn't to interested in the history of the EU but found the self-guided audio tour to be a lot of fun. You can take as long as you'd like or focus on the specific pieces of the EU that you find most interesting. Definitely a must for those interested in political science, history,... More

It is a it of a hike from central area but there is a good underground cheap and easy to use. The history of so... More

Metro stop Maelbeek (line 1 or 5) it's a five minute walk from there. An audio guide takes you through, there is a small version of the hemicycle. Lots of interactive sections. A chance to email any MEP, I emailed one and got a reply! If you want to sit in on a meeting get there early, I arrived at... More
