Visit if it rains and it's Sunday

Went there with our 6 and 3 year old boys. It's incredible! There is so much to stimulate young minds and take them into a world of imagination. Lots of play, activity, cookery lessons, dressing up areas, And the staff are delightful, really helpful and made our visit special. Also a fabulous playground just outside. It's totally different to a... More

We had pretty high expectations for the place, as the reviews that we had seen were largely positive and very positive. I must say that I still wonder why. To start with, the place turned out to be pretty small and very crowded. I think it is perfect for a rainy Sunday, as everything else is closed in the city,... More

It's a nice place to spend an afternoon with smaller children (I would say under 10). Check opening times before going! Also be prepared to actively engage with kids in crafting, reading, understanding. Staff mostly speaks English, but story telling and theater activities are in French and Dutch. Anyhow, plenty of other things to do in the museum/activity center!

This place is no where close to being classified as a children museum. If you've been to Chicago's Curious Kids Museum then you would understand what and how a children museum should be. The entrance fee is now €8.50/person which includes access to all the exhibition and participation in various workshops e.g. cooking, architecture, DIY, theater and fairy tales. There's... More

Large home converted into a number of children's play areas. In the colder months, or on a wet day, you have to get there early or you will queue for a while, and the house is only open for 2.5 hours (1430 to 1700). You should also hurry to sign your children up for the various workshops offered, as places... More

My 6 year old had a great time here, staff were great and spoke perfect english. He loved getting dressed up, doing some cooking and doing some of the arty activities The two downsides is why oh why is it only open for 2.5 hours, we only got to do about 70% of the stuff and at £21 for the... More

Wonderful place to spend at least 3 hours. Alternating play - educational and fun on different floors. My kids loved the craft room and both built wooden structures with a hammer and nail. Even a cookery lesson for kids to participate. If you are walking from a bus/ tube worth planning the distance in advance. We didn't so had a... More

When our kids were very young, my wife would spend whole afternoons at this place with them. They loved it because many of the proposed activities are original. We were there again not long ago and saw again young children having great fun. We recommend this place for children not older than, say 7 or 8.
