It's not the first time we've visited the Flea Market but definitely one of the best. Always amazes us what we'll find - this time a stand selling old or not so old laboratory glass ware. Quickfit to those that know - something I've used...More

This flea market has a lot to look at and pick from and we did find one small pitcher that we purchased. However, it was very messy like the left-overs from a garage sale, and one item we looked for, sunglasses, were too expensive for...More

Came here on a Sunday before our train back to Amsterdam, 10minute walk from Brussels Midi. Lots to look at some good, some bad, some ugly. You can and should barter otherwise you'll be scammed. You can do the whole market in as quick as...More

Marche Aux Puces Des Marolles is arguably Brussels most famous flea market and is a vibrant and busy market on market day ,personally I have never seen the attraction of the flea market as most of the "goods " on offer look like landfill to...More

Went to Marolles Flea Market on two separate Sundays. There is a huge variety of merchandise, from dubious to glamorous, but that is the nature of flea markets. Vendors selling every conceivable item, and bargaining, of course, is mandatory. For travelers, some of the larger...More

We chanced upon the Marche aux Puces just as it was closing up and the street cleaning team were moving in, but we could see that this was an eclectic market with anything and everything for sale, and all on a daily basis. Worth a...More

We spent a good couple of hours wandering around the array of random that is this flea market. It's quite hap-hazard - we were never quite sure which parts we had wandered down. A lot is on the floor or in boxes so you have...More

This provided insight into what's hiding in the attics of homes in the area. Nothing I'd consider adding to my own collection of junk, but interesting nonetheless. As you can see from the photos, most "vendors" don't even bother with tables - they just spread...More

We are lovers of local markets, whether they be carboot/flea/new items. This was more the former. More like a car booty. It was fun to rummage amongst the boxes of goodies, there was definitely bargains to be had. Enjoy soak up the atmosphere.

We heard about the flea markets in Brussels from one of our travel books, so thought we'd give it a try. 'Not exactly what we expected; many booths with masks and trinkets from The Congo, and also many middle eastern booths. We were hoping to...More
