Truly a flea market with an extraordinary variety of stuff

Old clothes, old silver, junk and treasures. It's all here. Make it part of a De Marollen outing and enjoy a local brasserie for lunch

It is a flee market and worth a visit. But, But, for TinTin fans, It is something! Really something. At the first pages of "The Secret of the Unicorn" We saw TinTin here (Herge painted it) and he want to buy a ship , then all adventure happened! In Louvian-la-neuve, Hergé museum, you find a photo of Hergé at this market,... More

Every time I visit it I buy something vintage for home. This is the place where you find authentic antique things. It shows that most of the items come from rich homes.

Really interesting place and one of the best flea markets I have been to in Europe. Mostly old random pieces, some junk and even very rare antiques are sold. From books, cutlery, chinaware, statues, decoration and so on you will find a lot of good looking & vintage things. Some prices are over the top but please consider that its... More

My regular spot to check out during my Europe trip. We have spent a couple of hours here and digging out loads of vintage stuff we fancied. We have got nice 60's floral folded beach chairs in good condition and set of 3 for 20 euro, few very art deco vase for 5 euros and special edition Levis 501 pretty... More

This place is not going to be for everyone. If you want to experience at true, old fashioned market this is a place to go. There is a lot of junk, but there are also some treasures. Be ready to bargain and adopt a buyer beware attitude. We really enjoyed rummaging through everything, and spent several hours going through almost... More

I went here with my husband and I loved it (could have stayed for up to an hour) and my husband hated it and couldn't get out of there fast enough. It is great to see a small community, off the beaten track of central Brussels. The vendors literally open the back of a truck and pour out their junk.... More

Jeu de Balle was a great place for "treasure /antique hunting " for many years; one of my favorite spots when visiting Brussels , which I do often. While rummaging through treasures this summer, I observed behavior which raised "red flags" as to safety. With sadness I personally chose to stay away from an area that was once a must visit... More
