Although this church is highly rated I wouldn't consider it a primary location to be visited, if you have time definitely come here.Like other churches, it has a lovely construction architecture

This beautiful church is worth seeing for its elegant, tall & slender windows behind the altar which feature wonderful stained glass. There is also a heavily carved wooden pulpit, a large organ & some interesting works of Art. It is worth looking out for Mary in her boat (we found 3 versions).

Quiet contemplative atmosphere. Well-maintained church with beautiful stained glass. An organ festival was on when we were there which show how relevant it still is.

Tour guides in Brussels would almost always try to compare this to THE Notre Dame (to make it clear, I mean the one on Paris), but in my opinion no comparioson is possible. I am not saying it in not a nice building with nice interior, I am just saying it is not very impressive compared to other European attractions.

This started in 1304 as a chapel for the crossbow guild. In the 15th century the church was built. Polychrome murals, beautiful stained glass windows.

Admire this slender gothic beauty, and then... All around you'll find antique shops,a regular antique/brocante market (posh! nothing to do with the democratic stalls at Vossenplein/pl du Jeu de Balles in popular Marolles quarter ). And as soon as the weather permits all terraces are full of people enjoying a coffee, glass of wine or beer or some nice al... More

Unlike the other cathedral, this one is exquisite. The building, and in particular the stained glass windows, stand out. A beautiful, magnificent building, with a gorgeous garden across the street.

Captivating from the inside and really beautiful on the inside. Not many tourists actually go in, but if you have time, you won't regret. After you've seen it, cross the street and enjoy the small park with a beautiful fountain (Petit Sablon Square). In the Rue Bodenbroek that curves down behind the church you will find a couple of nice... More
