My wife and I had been in Brussels for about 2 hours when we sought our first "frite" experience. We found this brightly colored stand and with the help of an employee. We shared a large cone of hot crispy and most excellent frites. There were choices of toppings at 50 pence each and after hearing descriptions , we chose the spicy Samurai and the milder Americaine. They tend to blend together and are wonderful. We had small forks and sat in the sun sharing our cone and wished they could be found in the US.…

What a tasty fries. Gold and crispy. It is certainly worth queuing for some of it. Different sauce to choose from.

If you find yourself in this city, you owe it to yourself to find this place to experience what a great tasting food it can be. Crispy exterior, moist, soft interior, lightly salted that tastes wonderful and doesn't need any of the optional sauces.
