Brussels Greeters - free guided tours in Brussels Greeters are volunteer guides who take you on a tour while sharing with you their favourite spots, their top tips, their neighbourhood and their anecdotes. These locals propose completely free, extraordinary and original visits for up to 6 people in a relaxed atmosphere. The visits can be organised in 12 languages and are founded on a principle of exchange. It’s almost as if the Greeters were welcoming family or friends to their city. The Greeters are absolutely not professional guides. The Greeters are a team of 100 Brussels inhabitants, from all walks of life. They will take you both into the centre of the city and into neighbourhoods that they love in all 19 of the capital’s communes. Each visit is unique, as every Greeter has their own areas of interest that appeal to them. There’s something for everybody: history, Art Nouveau and Art Deco, Europe, street art, green spaces, LGBT, gastronomy, beer, jazz, BD…

The rain didn't dampen our spirits as we traveled from one unique neighborhood to the next. Luc was very informative and as a native of Brussels, took me to places one might never visit on a "regular" tour. I enjoyed each and every moment.

Christophe was brilliant... We did the un-touristic tour of Brussels, and we covered a lot of ground... From the galleries, to resident's private 'ponds', the Godiva factory outlet, The Chocolate factory and beyond. It was very informative, entertaining and a lovely insight into the real...More
