Such a wonderful place for anyone looking for cheap second-hand books in very good condition. Even though the place might seem small from the outside, but you'll be blown away by its size once you're in. The staff is also really friendly & extremely helpful. They helped me find exactly what I wanted, English comics & stories for kids :) Before leaving, they even recommended some other places nearby that might have different collections.. Totally worth the visit!

The second-hand bookstore Bouquinerie Thomas on rue Froissart, off Rond-Point Schuman, is ideally located for those visiting one of the museums in the Cinquantenaire Park or the so-called ‘European Quarter’ of Brussels housing the Institutions of the European Union (the Council, the Commission and the European Parliament), or for those attending a conference at the Borschette Congress Center at rue Froissart 37. The shop may look rather small from the outside, but it extends very far back. The atmosphere is quiet and pleasant and the staff is always friendly. Books are in good condition, well ordered and nicely presented, so it is always a pleasure to roam through the shelves. At the back there are books in an amazing variety of languages, sold by leaving expats, one might assume. Apart from affordable English non-fiction and literature, both classic and modern, we were happy to find books in Swedish, hard to come by in second-hand bookshop outside of Sweden. Readers looking for French books by the Belgian author Georges Simenon will be delighted to discover a huge choice, ordered by editor. The place is open on weekdays until 7 p.m. It’s also possible to sell your own books.
