Fascinating to see the paper google. The building and setup of the museum is perfect. The only problem with this museum is that, in the end, it is a large collection of index cards. During our visit there was an exposition about peace which was...More

Mundaneum is a true discovery in every sense of the word. One gets to see how people dealt with knowledge, infographics, statistics, infomapping long before the internet era. A must when visiting Mons and simply a wonderful site to visit both with families, children, groups,...More

This was a very interesting museum. You can see lots of history of collection and representation of information. That might sound a bit dull, but there's a big focus on visual representation, which makes it much better. When I was visiting it was only 40...More

One of the most interesting and unusual museum's we've ever visited! Many helpful people who would explain everything there is to know about it.

Visited in a large group (over 20) and had a guided tour. Whilst the guide was enthusiastic, it would have been better to go round at our own pace. Some really interesting things, can easily spend and hour here.

La Fontaine and Otlet envisaged a town that housed the world's information and encouraged collaboration and peace between all countries. The methods described by Otlet using telephones, TV screens and a central storage facility for information predates the formation of the World Wide Web and...More

A must seen with children, if you visit Mons which is a little bit a counterpart of Bruges but in Wallonia. The visit of the museum doesn't need to take much time, but it explains the idea of a Belgian Nobel price winner..
