First of all, this is a unique place to visit and had way more to explore than we had time for, but with the expensive entry fee, we didn't go more than once. We arranged a birding guide, Michael Jiminez, for part of the day, through Peace Lodge, and he was a good guide that we enjoyed. The staff in... More

Overall, this is a very enjoyable place to visit. It is well laid out and you can see frogs, serpents, hummingbirds, butterflies, wild cats, and other wildlife. The waterfalls and natural surroundings are also quite impressive. My own warning is that it involves a LOT of stairs and walking up and down steep inclines. This is fine if you are... More

What a BEAUTIFUL place! I would definitely recommend people of all ages to come here for an afternoon. My boyfriend and I spent about 3-4 hours here but we could have stayed longer. There are beautiful trails located throughout and plenty of animal exhibits--some that are interactive. We saw monkeys, big cats, owls, a variety of birds, etc. Some of... More

The place is an expensive, privately-owned park, with excellent, developed trails. Entrance for foreigners is $42, and $56 with buffet lunch. The buffet is just OK by the way, not nearly as they promise. They keep animals which they claim are unable to be returned to the wild safely. The aviary is awesome, and you probably won't see more hummingbirds... More

We went with Saga, so were limited to what we were able to do. The access road to this attraction is interesting in itself. We saw a troop (?) of Coati on the roadside. Only there because people feed them, which I don't approve of, but having said that it was nice to see them. We stopped and took photographs... More

Came here with my husband. We had a guided tour we had purchased with our tour. Our guide was great. I think his name was Alberto his English was great and you could tell that he lived his job. The grounds are beautiful. I find it depressing to see animals in cages, but they say that all of their animals... More

A beautiful facility in a gorgeous location! The grounds are meticulously maintained and the staff very friendly. Hummingbirds have a special meaning to my wife in relation to her mother, and the feeding of the hummingbirds with the handheld feeders was an incredible experience. You just have to make sure you are there at the two times during the day... More

Here is where you can spend 4 hours hiking, enjoying nature and your companions. It was a long drive for us but we went early, arrived at opening and it was still cool enough for the wildlife to be out. Best advice, go early, busses arriving by the droves as we left.

Wonderful place for kids. So much to do at La Paz. Make sure you hit the feeding time for cats, hummigbirds, and toucans. It was not crowded and the staff were so friendly. Waterfalls were breathtaking and we were the only ones on the trail! Highly recommend!
