From the bridge go down the stairs and watch the cascades from nearby. Do not look around and do not listen to screaming girls in the rollercoaster nearby. The place has really come down with a leisure park, but the village might not have survived economically without.

The waterfalls are free to visit (although small charge for the parking) and are quite pretty. You can go down to the bottom via some steps. At the bottom is an amusement park - this was closed during the week. There are a couple of restaurants next to the car park, we had lunch in one which served a good... More

I visited the Coo waterfalls on a rainy, cold day in March, so we did not have to look hard for a parking spot. But during high season I can imagine it's quite a challenge. There are only 2 small parking lots that do not belong to the theme park next to the waterfalls. Besides that, there are quite a... More

I don't understand why this spot is so popular. OK, there is a waterfall, but it is not that impressive, and the village is clearly geared towards tourism only. So forget about picturesque and genuine. There are a few places renting out kayaks, you can do paragliding etc, there are various walks (have not tried them) but to be honest,... More

It was beautiful to look at from a distance, but my most major gripe with it was the dirt along the wall that divided it from the theme park and the bar/cafe that was beside. It wasn't kept clean enough, and seeing as you have to pay in to see it, it's not acceptable for the level of cigarette butts,... More

Waterfall under a bridge by Popsa theme park (which we did not visit). There were a few cafes but nothing of the standard we found elsewhere in Belgium. Riverside walk was rather scruffy and dull. A little further down river is beautiful - river accessible by following tiny roads under railway: rocks for climbing on in river - beware warning... More

Visiting the Coo Waterfall was one of the greatest experience ever! The place is simply BEAUTIFUL! Very accessible per car, plenty parking space and there is even a theme park (Plopsa Coo) if you want to go there and enjoy the wonder of Mother Nature with your kids.

Nice and clean park for kids and adults. Some things in the shops are quit expensieve, a little toooo much expensieve for my opinion.
