Due to all the disappointing reviews I decided to call prior our planned kayaking trip. They said the water on the river was to low so we had to divert to the location at the lake, also there was no possibility to pay with card. At the location at the lake we got our kayak which was wet from the inside. Of course there is a possibility you get wet but it would be nice to start with a dry one. No attempt was made by the care taker to dry it. After some brief instructions he left us to attend other customers. Kayaking on the lake was nice! Not to compare with on the rivers but nothing to do about that. It’s just all very basic, you go there, rent a kayak and should not expect much more then that. Biggest advise is to give them a call before you go there. …

Very, very good experience with the accrobranche and dropping with a large group (+10 people). Well organized, competent, patient and friendly management. The high rope was great, the environment is amazing for the dropping.

Most worthless service we've experienced in ages. The day before we had booked by phone. On the day itself we queued up in the morning to pay. There we were also told that at 2 o'clock we had to be present at the kayaks. So at 2 o'clock we arrived and then for more than an hour we had to stand in line again with people without a booking, to hear at the second cash register that we had to wait an additional hour because there are not enough kayaks. …

We, as a german group, booked a Kayak Tour from Stavelot. So I can only judge the Kayaking experience offered by Coo Adventure. On arrival personel at the reception was sparse, annoyed, nothing was organized on our arrival, people even seemed to be suprised. With little information where to go, we were send down a slippery wodden stairway to the river to search for our equipment. We were told wetsuits and changing rooms would be found at the river (12°C), a guide handing out the Kayaks did not know about any wetsuits for rent or changing rooms and was ok sending us down the river in our street clothing with just a life west. The guide refused talking in english or german and gave the whole group a little safety induction knowing no one understood him. Not covering reaction in rapid currents, measures when stuck on a rock or flipping a boat (all that happened due to low water in the first 500 m). No helmets were handed out, rocks under the surface all along. We felt lucky that no one got hurt. Usually I do not care so much about bad recommendations on trip advisor, but all the 1 point recommendations were unfortunately very accurate for this company. Its a beautiful area with a lot potential for outdoor activities, but never again with Coo Adventures... So much irresponsibilty makes me really angry, I hope no one ever gets hurt.…
