Small museum but they have a new race simulator that is worth the visit!
Feb 2020
The museum has a collection of old racing cars and memorabilia but the item that really sticks out is the new driving simulator. Judging from the reaction of my guest, this was worth the trip alone. Watch out: it is attended 1 hour per day only during the low season! So phone ahead.

A great little museum.
Jul 2019
Good examples of various race cars. Good information and little audio information screens. Some interesting general information about the circuit and drivers which is well put together. And if its a hot day its lovelly and cool being below ground. Will take no more than an hour depending on your level of interest. A little cafe up top for a drink.

Small but rich in history and rare street car is totally worthwhile for the small entry fee

A Ferrari F40, a BMW M1. Two of the most iconic vehicles for the respective auto maker. Never thought I would see something that special in a tiny collection. Situated in the basement of a museum next to an abandoned abbey, it is such a joy to discover after your afternoon tea or coffee.

Very nice place to visit for motorsport fans. A good set-up, some great exhibits of old cars and motors. Very interesting scale model of the old and new track.

Interesting for enthusiasts.

This is quite a small venue that is more interesting for the racing enthusiast. The entry ticket include a photographic exhiition elsewhere in the abbey, plus the abbey tour itself. Maybe a little expensive if only interested in motor racing.

Interesting collection of cars

How surreal Belgium can be! The museum of the Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps is located in an abbey :) Very nice collection of cars including a BMW M1. I also visited the temporary exhibition of 70 years Magnum which runs until the end of 2018 and which is very good too.

Nice display of cars and motor bikes

It's a shame that you can not just visit only this museum. They make you buy a ticket for all museums in the Abbey of Stavelot for the price of € 9,50. The museums are: Historical Museum of the Principality of Stavelot-Malmedy Spa-Francorchamps Racetrack Museum Guillaume Apollinaire Museum The Spa-Francorchamps Racetrack Museum is indeed nice to visit. They have some fine examples of race cars there. GPS location: 50°23'38.6"N, 5°55'57.4"E This is where you can park your car. It's only 50 meters to the entrance.
