There are tons of artifacts here. So much to look at as part of the US contribution and beign taken care of the Belgians. Tanks, videos, you name it . Just remember this isn't Disney and you don't need to see everything looking brand new to appreciate to message and the story.

Visited the barracks on a very cold Tuesday in April as part of a all day tour we did with a local expert and guide. We toured the small museum and the moving pictures of the veterans who had returned there to visit. And don't forget the room where "nuts" was written on the paper and sent back to the... More

If you have any interest in WWII history this museum is a must see. It was one of the best museum experiences I have ever had. I visited in the morning and it was a small group, only 5 of us. Our guide was amazing! He obviously loved his job and cared so much about the history of the site... More

What sets the Barracks apart from other Battle of the Bulge experiences is its authenticity! It is a tad rough around the edges but you wouldn't want it any other way...it's REAL! The facilities are maintained by the Belgian military as a labor of love and remembrance, your guide will indeed be a member of the Belgian army. It's a... More

Of the major monuments to the battle in .bsstogne, this is the only one I found that was the actual site of an event. In this case it is where BG Tony McAuliffe of the Screwming Eagles received the German ultimatum to surrender or be destroyed. His laconic reply, "Nuts!" is famous. The Belgian military guides were great and very... More

You will find that most of the artifacts that are here also in Bastogne War Museum and 101 Airborne Museum, except for the tanks/vehicle exhibit. However, what makes this stand apart from the two abovementioned places, are that this is free (can't beat that) and that the guides are enthusiasts that are devoted to maintaining and displaying their collection. Our... More

Interested in 2nd World War? Interested in Battle of the Bulge? Intersred in film Battle of the Bulge? Interested in tanks? Then this place must to see! Well organised exhibition, superb enthusiastic guide, interseting stories and facts, dozens of tanks and other WWII vehicles. The visit was more than 2,5 hours but I could stay twice as much.

I pulled in at 11am and learned the tour stars at 2pm. Perfect, went to 101st Museum and ate at LE Nuts. Tour was excellent. Passionately delivered by D'hoop Olivier! Highlights for me were the fully equipped field operating room. Anyone in the medical field will find this fascinating. Also, the tank barn is...well just plan shocking to see the... More

Wonderful tour/walk through the original barracks used by the 101st HQ during Battle of the Bulge. Also a big display of WWII vehicles and tanks. Terrific description of all from a Belguim Armed Forces soldier.
