A very respectable cemetary, for the 1000's killed at those un-needed wars in Europe. It is near a well kept modern playground for children, and we thought that at least the hope for the new generation is that no more wars will be held

The French National Cemetery is a very small and simple cemetery. See it because you are close - beside the Citadel. It is not really an attraction.

If you are at the Citadelle and go to the playground at "Les Canons", cafeteria, it is hard to miss the cemetery. Go and honor the fallen.

This cemetery is just outside the citadel, so easy to visit. But instead of quiet contemplation it offers the noise of a children's amusement park right next to it. You do wonder about town planners at times!

Once we arrived at the parking lot of the Citadel, we discovered this French National Cemetery. It contains victims of war from WWI and WWII. It's quite symmetric laid..
