A bit hidden at the outside of Ghent but a nice place to visit. Once you are there you dont have the feeling of a cemetary but more of a historical place. Graveyard on a hill in a part of Ghent called Sint-Amandsberg. It has very old graves and many of famous Belgian people. There is also a grave of a man who still wanted to have his newspaper delivered in his grave. If you find someone who can tell you something about the cemetary it's even better.

If you decide to pay a visit to this unique cultural monument I assure you that you won't regret it! At only 15 minutes from the Ghent centre you will experience an oasis of serenity and profound commotion. As if the facades from the town historical centre were just moved to this enchanting and moving site. Located on beautiful hilltop... More
