We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

You want to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city centre? The Muinkpark is nearby. You can go there for a stroll, sit down and relax and watch the ducks. There is also a big Asian duck. In autumn you can find plenty of mushrooms here.

It’s just a little bit of green in the City center of Ghent. I thought it would be a surprising, lovely area...but in fact it is nothing more than some trees, grass and a lot of garbage... so I don’t support the other reviews here. I assume they are all made by the people of Ghent... bummer

Cosy little park, with a pont with ducs.
The statue of penguins refers to the history of the neighbourhood. Before Ww2, there used to be a zoo for the aristocrats of the city.
There is a smaller playground and a lot of benches.

The park is in the centre but you dont really get bothered by the sounds here. Its surrounded by buidlings and is really peaceful and not crowdy. A park to relax and enjoy nature. This place used to be a zoo in the 19th century and thats why all the Streets nearby has an animal name.
