This is a perfect spot to access the canal and to 'people watch' while enjoying one of the most well-known of Ghent's views. Situated by the still unfinished St Michael's church, this bridge affords some must see sights in this fabulous city

The bridge located next to the church should be an ideal spot to take nice photos on the nearby Cathedrals, particularly prior to the crowds invasion to this area. Try your luck when you visit there.

Just a few meters from the Graslei and Korenlei we came onto the the St. Michael' s bridge with the adjacent church. The status of the Angel Kipling the Dragon is the symbol of the bridge.

Bridge is great spot for taking photos either of the canals of the Cathedrals. Hate to say as its not very responsible but a good spot is to stand in the middle of the road on the bridge to photograph the Cathedrals. As another reviewer...More

This is a nice bridge but not a lot else! From it there are some good photograph opportunities but the crowds of tourists make this difficult. I failed when I tried!

The views from the bridge are just amazing. You can see the famous streets Graslei and Korenlei on one side and the cathedrals and churches ahead of you. You might have to wait for a long time to take a photo if you don't want...More

I just came back from Amsterdam yesterday! The quickest way is to take the Express train to Brussels and change to Ghent,I suppose. Better have a look on the railways's site good luck,
