It's not very long, basically one block. Lots of wall art, lots of pieces that have been partially painted over, so it's a mish-mash. Hard to get a good take on any one effort. Attracts a lot of people. Near the center.

I wouldn't go out of my way to find the street. However, I had read about it and we happened to come across the street. There was a mix of good and not so good art pieces. I think what is more interesting is whether the street achieved one of its intention - which is to give people a legitimate place to draw their graffiti. We were lucky as when we were there, there was a guy finishing off his elaborate painting of a huge dragon. We asked him how long he has taken and he said many days.

Sought out this street intentionally, but then happened upon it a few more times during our week in Ghent, so maybe you don't have to plan to go there and you'll just stumble upon it too. A mix of interesting, cool, and beautiful street art. There was a big lion near where we entered that our toddler especially loved. There seemed to be a walking tour going through there when we were there (i.e., it was actually kind of "busy"), but they didn't linger long. Something to keep in mind is that it seems to be actively updated/worked on frequently, so an artist might be spray painting while you're there. Neat to see, but also pretty fume-y.

Lots of people come here to take photos of the art that is on the walls of this very short pedestrian street that is near the center of town. One strolls down it in just a couple of minutes, it is so short. I found the art to be colorful but not very well made.
