- Thomas VOakland, California17,790 contributionsWall ArtIt's not very long, basically one block. Lots of wall art, lots of pieces that have been partially painted over, so it's a mish-mash. Hard to get a good take on any one effort. Attracts a lot of people. Near the center.Visited December 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 7 December 2023
- Jeanne HSingapore, Singapore227 contributionsWould not go out of the way to visit but it is an interesting street with some good art piecesI wouldn't go out of my way to find the street. However, I had read about it and we happened to come across the street. There was a mix of good and not so good art pieces. I think what is more interesting is whether the street achieved one of its intention - which is to give people a legitimate place to draw their graffiti. We were lucky as when we were there, there was a guy finishing off his elaborate painting of a huge dragon. We asked him how long he has taken and he said many days.Visited May 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 20 May 2024
- Brittany_11_10Los Angeles, California1,822 contributionsCool street artSought out this street intentionally, but then happened upon it a few more times during our week in Ghent, so maybe you don't have to plan to go there and you'll just stumble upon it too. A mix of interesting, cool, and beautiful street art. There was a big lion near where we entered that our toddler especially loved. There seemed to be a walking tour going through there when we were there (i.e., it was actually kind of "busy"), but they didn't linger long. Something to keep in mind is that it seems to be actively updated/worked on frequently, so an artist might be spray painting while you're there. Neat to see, but also pretty fume-y.Visited July 2024Travelled with familyWritten 10 August 2024
- Thomas VOakland, California17,790 contributionsGood for Those Who Love GraffitiLots of people come here to take photos of the art that is on the walls of this very short pedestrian street that is near the center of town. One strolls down it in just a couple of minutes, it is so short. I found the art to be colorful but not very well made.Visited June 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 11 August 2024

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Here, street artists can use the spray can to their heart's content in this street. Whatever happens and it constantly changes in appearance. Not everything is beautiful, but it is nice to have a place where this is allowed. Nice to walk through it, but nothing more.

Short pedestrian passage of a hundred meters transformed into street art in the heart of the city. We had the opportunity to see a graffiti artist working in the street during our visit.

I love a good range of street art and have seen some wonderful examples. However, this is not one of them. I'd concentrate on looking at the medieval stuff and maybe visit Brussels if you want to see good street art. Graffiti Street obviously evolves so perhaps it will be to your taste in the future.

I found this street by pure chance. I think the municipality had a very good idea by dedicating this place to those who want to make graffiti. Instead drawing, or just doodling everywhere, better doing this in only one place. Some graffiti are even interesting and beautifully made, but because this is a place for everyone, with talent or not, you will also find only a lot of paint on the walls.

An alley that has been decorated over and over with very colorful art work. It's all mixed up, images do not stand out. The main thing one notices is the brightness of the colors. It is short and you are through it in a minute. OK, but not the best street art.

What a refreshing contrast to walk through this street which is in total contrast to the city center and watch graffiti artists at work.

Very cool small street in the middle of the city center - unusual but a nice little alley to pass through if you're passing by :-)
