Bruges along with Amsterdam is one of the Venice's of northern Europe. A canal tour is a quick way to get a feel for historic Bruges. The boat captain points out the landmarks and offers commentary as he motors you through around the canal system. You can discover many restaurants and activities which are only a short walk from the... More

If you're coming to Bruges, this is definitely something on the list of things to do. It is a boat tour and you will obviously learn about all the sites. Couple of tips. Get there earlier in the day because they get busier as the day goes on and fill up quickly. The other stuff you do in Bruges can... More

Its popular, you might have to queue and it costs 8 euros each. But its well worth it. Gotta be done. Commentary in English but its more about getting a feel for Bruges

only cost £6 for half hour trip - commentary when going around canals so learnt a lot - saw lots of little bits of bruges you would not know or discover so then walked back to these areas after - so quaint and loved every minute - went under smallest bridge , saw lots of ducks swans etc, would stay... This is a pretty cheap way to have a guided tour of Bruges. In the middle of summer and on weekends there can be massive queues. We had 4 days in Bruges, so we just waited until the Monday and we had maybe a 5 minute wait in the queue, but we were chatting with other tourists, so the time... More

A canal ride [even a cramped one] for 30 minutes is a good bargain at 8 Euros and the views from the canal level is often more dramatic than on foot. Bruges sells itself and perhaps one could get by without the captain's narrative. However, we checked to see if the narration was in English and were assured it was.... More

This is an inexpensive boat ride through the canals of Bruges. The open boat and seating arrangements do not make it very comfortable, so I would not try this attraction on a cold or rainy day. It was interesting to cruise through the canals and view the architecture. The guide spoke in many languages to explain what we were viewing.... More

Really great cruise to see many of the city's sights in one day. It cost us €8 each for between 30 mins to 1hr. Really cool going under the low bridges and seeing the big churches and quirky buildings. Like I said...a great way to see Bruges if you're short on time. Would absolutely recommend!

Maybe the best thing we did in Bruges was having this boat tour. Our captain was very kind and was providing the tour in 4 languages. It's a 30 minute tour, for 8 euros if I remember well. We took this boat near burg square and recommend this activity to anyone passing by Bruges.
