This was a great experience. Philippe is incredibly knowledgable, and Sharon made our booking experience seamless given the uncertain times. To start off I would recommend this tour regardless of circumstances, however to comment on the COVID precautions taken - masks are required for passengers in the van. There is a plastic barrier between Philippe and passengers and tour sizes are limited, (there was only two of us on tour with Philippe - but two rows of seating so can be distant if another group books). Philippe has a microphone so you can clearly hear him, and has a shield covering the microphone. When outside the van, Philippe wears a mask at all times, but all sites are mask optional for passengers with appropriate spacing (if more people in the area you can and should wear a mask). Laminated pictures are shared which are wiped down each time before passing. Overall, I felt like every possible precaution was taken and felt comfortable throughout our entire tour. The tour was fantastic! Personally I have not spent much time on WW1 (more of a WW2 buff) and my wife just enjoys a good story, Philippe does a great job of touching on not only the military history, but the stories that go along with the challenging times, sharing some of his family’s personal experiences. Both my wife and I were entertained throughout the day and had a great experience. I just wish I was ready with more questions for Philippe! Everywhere we went, the local people knew Philippe and were very open and welcoming. His passion and energy really creates a very enjoyable experience that I would highly recommend. …

We did this tour in September 2019. Phillipe was our guide that day and I must say we thoroughly enjoyed his passion and knowledge of the area. The tour information was very moving and you left feeling that we need to continue educating our next generation of the sacrifice's that were made before us. We left the tour that day with a greater understanding of those that went before us. I would recommend this tour to anyone of any age. Quasimodo Tours. Your the best.…

Philippe delivers a very informative and extensive tour of the WW1 battlefields of Flanders stopping at scenes of battles and cemeteries and local areas of interest. All delivered in a very relaxed but informative style. Being from Worcester in the UK we especially appreciated visiting Gheluvelt, the scene of the battle fought by the Royal Worcesters and the name given to a local park in Worcester commemorating them and the battle. Philippe's knowledge of the area and the events of WW1 is amazing and fascinating - all those things you're supposed to remember from school (but most likely forgotten) and a whole lot more. Time for lunch in a local pub and time to walk around Ypres and the Menin Gate rounds off a very rewarding day. Thanks Philippe!…

Excellent service from start to finish. Picked up at the hotel in a taxi and then joined the mini bus. The owner was so knowledgeable and we stopped at so many different places. We were given the option to stay for the last post ceremony at the menin gate and we are so glad we did. They organised a taxi home for us. Long day but worth the money and the time.…
