Really interesting history and so peaceful. We also walked through a second time on a the Legends of Bruce walking tour and learnt a lot of the interesting history. We were also lucky enough to witness the nuns praying and singing in the church

The Benguinage is a lovely, quiet place to take stroll after lunch. Even more so in the spring when the flowers are coming out. The community here have put up signs asking visitors to keep quiet (hence the tranquillity), not walk on the grass and to keep dogs on leads.

It was very peaceful to visit this place. There are signs that requesting that one has to be silent and respectful when visiting so not to disturb the nuns that still love here.

You have to come and spend a quiet moment here. It is the perfect place for respite from the day if you need it. We had a lovely peaceful stroll in the grounds and wished we could have spent more time here.

Beautiful place to meander, take in the sights, enjoy nature, and escape the commercialism of the touristy part of Bruges.

This is a place that someone who visits Bruges without planning could miss - and it would be a mistake. The church is interesting, too, but the main attraction are the leaves that cover the floor and give the place a fantastic atmosphere.
