Always active with families and friends. It's a beautiful place to sit and talk to friends or the other people who are traveling. No matter where you are, you can always meet back at the Market.

Just around the corner from the main square. This is a smaller square and a good place to pick up a Horse drawn carriage.

Situated adjacent to the Central Markt square, this houses the Town Hall and also The Basilica of the Holy Blood in the corner. Is is basically a square you traverse to get to somewhere else! Pretty buildings on 3 sides though.

This is a pretty square and well worth a visit but the cab drivers with the ponies would rather you hired a cab rather than talk to the ponies.

This square in the centre of town is beautiful. It's also, like the rest of Brugge, not as busy as other European cities in the summer, which was a lovely surprise.

The Burg square is one of the places of the world where it doesn’t matter which way you turn. It’s pretty and WOW-ish in any direction. Start your Tour de Bruges here...

There are shops of all kinds....lace, souvenirs, clothes, and lots of fresh and high quality chocolate shops. It would be easy to spend half a day shopping within three block of the city center. It is worth the visit

Its a town that you can walk for ever finding new places, out of the way places, and at each turn of a corner something different new and delightful is there

Every inch of Bruges seems to be carved out of heaven. This place is no exception. Spent an evening here and it was serene.

This seems the place to be in the hub of things. Nothing nicer than eating lunch or dinner in the square and watching the world go by. Horse and cart rides the belfort tower bus tours the historic museum etc. All can be seen in...More
