This is an interesting square with the city's main administrative buildings around it. Tucked away in one corner is the Chapel of the Holy Blood. Some reviewers seem to have confused this Square with The Markt Square, i.e. the one with the Belfry. This square...More

Bruges is a fabulous village! The Burg Square is a short walk down the street from the main Markt (Market Square). The architecture is beautiful and it's a wonderful place to walk.

The Town Hall museum is in this square. In one corner is a church which is beautiful inside with some great stained glass windows. It is an interesting place with much great Architecture and gold over the buildings.

Standing in the centre you'll struggle to not see something of interest in this beautiful square. Horse Rides, markets (on certain days), or just sitting down and watching the world go by Restaurants are, like most squares, a bit expensive here.

This is one of the most unique cities I've ever been to, very rare to see so many things well-kept that are original, and people living among it. I can't wait to be back!

Lovely square watched over by Belfort tower. Plenty of restaurants and bars along with The Markt and a couple of museums. Bruges reminded me of a smaller scale Amsterdam and to me, this was like a small scale Dam square.
