The bar is just off the market square, it is small with quirky cool decorations. I loved the open fire and candle lit atmosphere. It got lively later on in the night, however a delivery had not come so they had barly no drinks to serve. . . Everyone left. I would recommend this bar for a drink or two... More

Went to the bar when visiting Bruges last year. We were unsure what to expect walking down the steps but we were welcomed by the owner once we opened the door and had a good night. The owner told us that he would show a match on tv the following day that I wanted to see and once I arrived... More

Arrived, went downstairs, waited almost 10 minutes, not a server or barman in sight, turned around and left. Looked like a really cool place but not willing for the staff to finish their cigarettes outside.

Please don't visit this place. It is fantastic and I wouldn't want it spoilt. The staff are great a wide selection of beers and the best atmosphere. So don't go...please.

The last thing I wanted to do while visiting Bruges with their vast selection of bars was go to an Irish bar. But I stumbled along this place and wasn't disappointed. I have visited many..... many bars, but the one thing that makes this one a cut above the rest was the amazing landlord. Such a friendly and welcoming host.... More

This pub is located just off the main square in the centre of Bruges. It is approached by some steep steps as it is located in a cellar. From the outside it is not immediately identifiable as an Irish bar. It was very full on the two evenings over the weekend that we visited but it had a good atmosphere... More

I can only agree with what the other posts have said. With the steps down into the pub, it's easy to enter but hard to leave. And when you're in, the service, staff and surroundings are great. The main man may be a Geordie (with Irish connections) but the pub is as genuine as I've seen outside Ireland. Not to... More

Despite being very, very close to the Market Square, Druid's Cellar is easy to miss. DON'T! There is a staircase leading to the bar, which is dimly lit and atmospheric and has everything good about an Irish bar. The staff are wonderful - friendly and chatty, (where else in the world can you have a 10 minute conversation about the... More

We came across this bar by chance when out one evening in Bruges and ended up spending the rest of the night with Drew the owner, his lovely partner and some locals. It will remain one of our most memorable moments from a short stay. A friendly atmosphere, brilliant hosts and an owner who clearly knows his beers - which... More

Stopped off here for a drink on a night out in Bruge. Was friendly quirky bar with good choice of drinks. Have to walk down into nice cellar to get served which is a bit different.
