We were lucky as we had free tickets to this event and it was well worth it. Our host was very thorough, being able to speak to us in English, Flemish, German and French. I'm sure that he could speak other languages also. Not only did he tell us about the production of their chocolate but we were able to... More

€8 for an adult to get in is definitely too pricey. The history elements of chocolate were very much lacking, it was just a weird museum with a mishmash of items vaguely related to cocoa. I will say that the questionnaire to find out what kind of chocolate is best suited to you was quite interesting. The best thing to... More

This is a must visit in Bruges as it is very interesting for everyone. The chocolate sculptures are unreal!

A really well put together museum aimed at all ages which tells the story of chocolate and it delelopment through the ages. A perfect demonstration on how to make praline centred chocolates. One given to everyone at the end which was really nice. This we felt was spoilt by the quality of the shop. It seemed to miss what you... More

We found the museum interesting but (as in other reviews) there isn't much interactivity. The tour around the museum requires a lot of reading. Personally, I would not recommend for young children (under 5s). We found it diverting, but it isn't Cadbury's World.

This museum gives a full tour of the history of chocolate and includes a display of chocolate being made, and a tasting.

This museum was horrendous. We read bad reviews and decided to give it a go. There is very little interaction, and complete information overload, with very little history regarding Bruges. The staff were unhelpful and uninterested. Not recommend!

I was so excited to go to a chocolate museum I ended up very disappointed. It's literally just rooms full of facts and pictures. You go from one hot room to the other. Nothing fun and exciting about it. I could have just read a book about chocolate instead. A waste of money and my time in Bruges. And the... More

I visited with my wife, 12 year old daughter and 8 year old son. Frankly, we were a little disappointed. Little to no interactivity. Lots of text. But nothing too exciting. Whatsoever. Trying to grasp at highlights....you get a small chocolate bar as you enter. Staff are friendly. Um. That's probably it. You are encouraged to follow a path via... More
