The Duvelorium is open every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is freely accessible to everyone. It is the perfect place to rest and relax during your visit to Bruges, after work, or after your Historium visit. Everyone is welcome in this cosy bar, where you can learn about our specialty beers or simply select your favourite beverage from our extensive drinks menu. Moreover, you also get to enjoy a priceless view of Bruges Market Square from our panoramic terrace. Be sure to visit us! Where are we? On the first floor of the Historium building, Markt 1, Bruges.

Stopped off in Bruges during a cruise and wanted a 'rooftop' bar and this delivered thanks to panoramic views from the balcony. Great accessibility, staff were friendly and gave us a brief history. The beer was great, hot chocolate delicious. Really great spot in the town centre!

Rude staff, beer what you would expect. Standard bar rude staff who think they work somewhere so important the can speak to customers rudely. Beers around £6.50 sharing snacks cheese etc £14.

My wife and I came here shortly after breakfast. We wanted to drink some beer at 10:00 before enjoying a gorgeous day ahead of us. Wow...this place is near perfection if you love beer. While we came in only for a tasting, the beer was so good we stayed for two more a piece. Needless to say, we got a morning beer buzz. It was an outstanding experience with a view of Grote Markt that cannot be beat. I definitely recommend spending some time here. You will be glad you did!

Awful - overpriced and rude.

I'm sorry to read you haven't enjoyed our Duvelorium. Duvel from draught is exclusively, same as the location of our bar. Our prices are competitive to other bars on Bruges' Market Square. About our toilets, they are free to use when scanning the QR-code on your ticket. Our apologies also from the bar staff as this should definitely not be allowed.

Its a pretty small bar and so does have only a limited number of seats that overlook the Markt. Drink a Duvel here and savour it !

Its all about the view here in this unashamedly blatant tourist trap. If you arrive very early you might be lucky enough to secure a perch on the balcony over the square. If there are no seats left in this prime location, then don't bother. There are plenty of much better bars nearby.

The Duvelorium does indeed offer a beautiful view of the Market Square, and we do our best to allow as many visitors as possible to enjoy this. If the terrace is full, some visitors wait inside until a table becomes available outside, and then move outside. You may indeed pay a little more than in an average bar, but our beers are also unique and specialty beers, which are served at prices that are certainly competitive with other establishments on the Market Square.

Lovely view, a very relaxing way to spend an afternoon people watching on the Markt. A super friendly barman too, BUT, 70c to use the loo when you're eating and drinking onsite, what's that all about? I wouldn't expect to pay off I was a paying museum visitor either.
This changed our experience from hanging out there for a few hours to one drink and on our way, there are too many better places to go. What a shame.

Popped up here for a quick beer, but ended up having a beer tasting selection. 3 beers all very strong around 8-9% but only small amounts 120-250ml. Nice and super tasty all for 10€ .
