Ideally situated on the ramparts overlooking the lake a beautiful resting place, tranquil and silent. The register and visitors book all interesting, located in the wall by the gate.

I found this cemetery whilst walking around ramparts of Ypres. A small cemetery but still a moving experience.

This is where so many good men died and the war graves commission do a wonderful job of looking after the fallen . May they all rest in peace knowing they got the job done. A lovely place and peaceful and lovely

We had picked up a leaflet from where we were staying for the rampart walk and found this spot. We found these Maori graves ,then two days later there were Maoris doing the Haka at the Menin Gate ceremony ,very poignant.

The resting place of soldiers, a number of them are british soldiers. Those without a name had 'known unto God' inscribed on their tombstone. I found that comforting and so true! A beautiful setting overlooking a stream.

A lovely resting place for some of the fallen allied soldiers of the First World War in a prominent but secluded spot

Worth a visit as part of the rampart walk. Another reminder of the sad past of this resilient and positive town

Peaceful place to rest, full of young men who gave the ultimate sacrifice. Particularly interesting as my friends grandfather who survived gassing would likely have served with some of these men.

During a walk, starting at the Menin Poort, we passed this little cemetery. Like all cemeteries in and around Ypres, it was very well maintained with beautiful flowers and presented a peaceful setting at the water.
