I really love this pub. Just opposite the novotel hotel, it's a great place to chill after a hard day touring the battlefields. The staff and locals are friendly, the beer fantastic. Games room in the back and sport on TV. Look forward to returning next year.

We spent a couple of nights drinking here. Small friendly pub they also make a great hot chocolate. We went in as it was close to our hotel and we're glad we did .

Good place for a latish drink, pleasant atmosphere, we called in for a drink on our way back to the hotel, noticed there are pub games in the back room.

I was in Leper on a visit to the Melin gate. Whilst wanting afternoon refreshments I found this pub and was quite surprised by the friendly customersp considering Belgium was playing ROI that afternoon on television. Beer was good and at €4 for a large beer good value, I enjoyed it that much I returned back in the evening and... More

Nice local pub, good selection of beers and it does food, mainly light lunches, sandwiches during the day. Seems used by locals and visitors, friendly staff and locals all go to make it a lively pub for a few drinks and chat, plus football on the tv.

I wandered into this place while trying to mosey back on over to the Menin Gate. I slowly realized this was an Irish pub, but it didn't matter much to me since they still had a selection of Belgian beers that the bartender was well educated in. The bartender gave me excellent beer advice, told some great stories, shared a... More

Great place for a non poncy beer, not cafe style, old style pub style and all the better for it. Fantastic old building a few minutes walk from Menin Gate, next to the Albion Hotel (fantastic hotel) €4 a pint, regular live music. What's not to like?
