Recognized for having the largest Snow Tubing Park on the East Coast, we've added the longest Zip line Tour as well. We are featuring two tours to choose from. Our Hawk tour is a 11 cables 1.5 miles of ziplines. Our new Eagle tour is 9 cables of almost 3 miles of zipline tour. Gliding through the air with ease is trouble-free. Zippers--ages five and up--enjoy the exhilarations of speeding treetop high over valleys having expansive views and threading through the forest canopy over creeks, wild turkeys, deer, groundhogs and the occasional bear. In winter, zippers can yell to their snow tubing friends from way above as they begin their journey. Our 20+ Lane Snow Tubing Park has four different areas to snow tube; lanes are 400 - 1000 feet long. Our 2 conveyor lifts take our snow tubers back to the top for more rides. Hawksnest has 100% snow making and lighting on all lanes to provide the best possible conditions and fun for the whole family.

This is by far the best snowtubing in NC! 20 lanes of snowtubing ranging from mild to crazy wild! Great for all ages!

Hawksnest was a lot of fun even though the tubing was slow. I feel like there could have been better maintenance of bare spots in the lanes. It seemed like the quality was subpar. One hill was not even open to us, yet we still had to pay full holiday price and a parking fee. We only got 4 runs... More

The experience wasn't wonderful. It was very crowded with half the lanes not being used due to warmer weather but still at a sell out crowd. Lines very long, and employees not in the best spirits. Glad we tried it out but wouldn't return without all lanes in use as the lines were very long and in one hour and... More

The runs had bare spots that made it impossible to go very far with any speed. The lines were way too long - between 20 and 30 min wait. This only allowed us to go down the steeper run twice and the baby run 3x. At $34 a ticket, it was a complete ripoff! Never again!

Went on a cold and chilly am. Had a reservation. Some of the lanes were closed and it was a bit slow. We were able to go down 4 times in the hour and 45 mins we had.

Perhaps if it had been a colder and snowier and less crowded day, this would have been more fun--but even my 5 and 7 year old were ready to leave early because the thing was short and unexciting, the tubes hard to carry, and the lines too long. And paying what turned out to be $5 per person per ride... More

We took the kids to Hawknest to see snow for the first time and they absolutely loved it. The adults had just as much fun if not more! The photographers did an amazing job of capturing the fun - really exceeded our expectations on the pictures. The kids want to make this trip an annual thing now so we will... More

Despite the warm temperatures, there was enough snow for us to make all the trips we wanted. Very helpful staff on the slopes!!! Their pushes made us fly!
