We went to Diriyah for a day trip. Had a wonderful time. The place has got a touch for Saudi Heritage & at the same time offers nice coffee shops etc. Highly recommended.

This review is quite late. At-Turaif District in Ad-Diriyah is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Saudi Arabia. It is worth visiting to get an glimpse of how the Saudis lived before. The clay houses and palaces are restored but a good number of ruins can be still be seen, hence, giving a feeling of authenticity.

A place to come and picnic, wander amongst the palms or stop at the cafes nearby. The ruins still under restoration but over the road the park is lovely. We are going back soon.

Greatly illustrating the old aspect of Riyadh as well as its firm, rocky scenery. That arid, rocky-like area is ornamented with green lush grass as well as palm trees adding a different flavor to the whole picture. A must for tourists coming to Riyadh...

Really nice place where to go with your family for a picnic. Restaurants to buy foods, greens to seat and relax... Very crowded during the weekends

Interesting heritage site on the outskirts of Riyadh . Near the city and yet so far for the crowds and malls stop a taste of Riyadh past and a way of life for not too long ago. Really interesting and great photo opportunities especially at sunset. Don't miss it when In Riyadh

One thing I love about Riyadh is the old ruins and although this area is under restoration you can still access - maybe be careful because some of the areas we visited were clearly not safe so best to avoid. But one thing is you get to see how they lived not too long back and some of the houses... More

It was very difficult to find the entrance and we eventually found an opening in the wall where we went in. The place is generally run down as one can expect from a mud city of this age, however there are activities underway to restore the city to its previous glory. We met a security guard on duty who was... More
