the locals call it Kelty wid's (woods),it's a good place for walks,mountain bikes,dogs,etc,been going up the forrest for the last 44 years,great place to get away from day to day life

wonderful place and great for the dogs and children. A lot of trees have been cut down but new ones have been planted and it will look good again

These woods are lovely for a walk with the dog with different routes to suit your time and distance. Pop into the Baxters shop for a well deserved cake and a cuppa afterwards!

Go here quite often with my dog, lots of parking space, lovely trails in the forest giving some very enjoyable walks. Good for running, cycling or walking.
