Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

During the walking tour, our guide recommended us to detour to this beautiful patio with its white buildings sparkling in the sun. We did not go inside the buildings, just admired them for few minutes from outside. Definitely worth visiting and exploring. The sundial is particularly inspiring!

Nice, cozy patio in the heart of Evora but completelt set apart from the city's streets. Definitively recommend coming here for a stop to rest and relax in between long walks roaming the streets of this beautifull City.

We "discovered" this beautifully renovated part by accident during a walk from a guide book; really worth visiting and a nice discovery

This is portuguese history. Right in the center of Évora, near the roman temple and Sé.
It was quite a surprise to see how beautiful and contemporary it is. It worth the visit. Guided tours by appointment.

Behind the cathedral you will find this quiet area that has a palace, cafeteria, and a library. We saw the Carriage Museum and our ticket allowed us to visit the library and the palace of St Michael in the square.

The Palace of the Counts of Basto, a stately residence of great importance in Portugal, is the oldest of the palaces in Évora. The building is still partially integrated into the Roman and medieval fence, that is, into the walls of Évora. It has been a National Monument since 1922 and continues to be used as the residence of Mrs. Maria Teresa Eugénio d’Almeida.
The Palace of the Counts of Basto is made up of several monumental blocks, large and small, with several courtyards and smaller outbuildings. Of these, the entrance, the garden, the administrator's house, the offices and the spectacular porticos stand out. The main body of the building has a fascinating Renaissance loggia over a Gothic arcade.
