One of the busiest beaches along the Algarve. Plenty of restaurants to cater to the tourist. With it being close to the Old Town of Albufeira it is a very popular beach.

Just love this beach, served by escalators and lifts either end. A beautiful beach to walk, serviced by numerous little cafes and restaurants

that stretches a long way. In fact this section of beach goes for about 2 km and paddling in the water is a great joy. Watch the huge waves that come rushing in and easy to get wet! Clean waters. Problem is the lack of toilets.

It’s January, and even at the weekend, you have the place pretty much to your selves. A few dog walkers, and a few sunbathers... but it’s the ocean that makes this special. And the proximity of a few restaurants for a post-walk lunch.

What a beautiful beach , down an outdoor escalator too a lovely open tiled square , over the square too the soft sandy beach , the beach has a few bars on it and beach showers and public toilets too. Quiet clean as well and it looks like it’s cleaned and rolled by the council…
