Peace in the world

This Church filled me with lots of peace. It is old and typical style of Algarve Not too small and not too big The services are live and full of warmth

Nice, church. You have to have good condition if you walk up from the central square. We spend there for Christmas mess and we enjoyed it, even the people was standing outside the church, because of space.

I passed by this church very often. The outside of this chapel is a lust for your eyes. This time the door was open. A great opportunity to have a look at the interior. The inside is also beautiful and peaceful. Nobody in, so a great chance to take some pictures. It is close to the city centre of Albufeira. Only... More

It's a steep climb up the hill to this church, but worth it in the end, not very large but just as charming , used a lot by locals so always someone in there, and a bit of respect required at all times. I was taken back by the alter in such a small church.

Spend 10 minutes looking at the history of the town, will give you a real feel for the place. Not a church in the traditional sense. This is really a museum. Some nice little bars and restaurants near here also. Safe area to wander around at night.

We were heading to Merlins Pub when we came across this beautiful Old Town church. The church looks amazing with its white washed walls and we had a little look around the church but we couldn't go inside as it was closed but I must say the exterior is superb and the views from the entrance looking out onto the... we visited the church yard and surprisingly had an interesting hour, the walk was pleasant through the town, it was fascinating to see all the caskets and a bit of history of the families graves, my mate said it reminded her of the vampire diaries.

This Church is beautiful, incredibly tranquil and a wonderful place to visit on one's holiday. I would recommend visiting, even if it is just to take a few minutes out of the hot sun, to find oneself again and connect with your inner self. I really love this beautiful Church.
