Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fantastic view of the sea and city. The place is known as a famously photographed vantage point, so don't miss out on a photo or two now that you're up here. There is an escalator going up and down from the old town, so you can avoid walking the many steps in the heat. There is also a mini-train from up here if you want to go around and see the special tourist hotspots in the old town and can't bear to walk.

Stunning view of the coastline and Old Town. Picturesque blue water. We walked about a mile from our apartment, so we were grateful there were places to sit and just relax. It was a warm and sunny day, but the breeze was refreshing. A great viewpoint to discover if you’re in the area.

Looking out over the old town, it's a nice place for a photo opportunity, there is a nice metal sculpture there to take a pic with.

This is also the drop off point for the tourist train for the old town, it is worth the 2 in trip up the double escalators to look out.

Lovely shaded seating with great views where you can stop a while and rest after a walk, especially after climbing the hill

I stumbled upon this walking into the Old Town from Santa Eulalia. It gives a lovely view of the Fisherman's beach. And it's free. Well worth visiting!

What a stunning view. The beach from up high, the old town in the distance, a nice sea breeze to coool you down. I love sitting on here for 20 minutes each day I am in Albufeira, relaxing and chilling.

Nice view but nothing spectacular, if you look across to the town, just below you is a square where you can hire bikes and other modes of transport.
If you have arrived here by walking down the hill, beware of the traffic on the bend as you have to cross the road at this viewing point and it is easy to miss an oncoming vehicle through a moment's inattention.
