small beach, often quiet. Though the stairs can be hard to get up and down, it is definitely worth it. A small cove, a gem of a place, quite hidden with a fantastic view. Some waves may get you wet, and you will get more of the small beach when the tide is out, but there are good places to put belongings further back. A shady area slightly overshadowed and the sea and more beach a little further on. An amazing find and a very good place to go, whatever the nature of your visit is.…

Small beach, less then a mile from main street. Stunning view of cove, with waves hitting rock from all different angles. Steep stairs will get you to the bottom, be careful as some waves will get you wet. Well worth visiting.

This beach is a really beautiful gem of a find. There are a lot of steps but it's worth the work of getting down and up these stairs. You are protected from the wind in this cove. We stayed in Carvoeiro for week at the end of June and found this beach by accident on one of our many walks. What a wonderful find a beautiful beach cove with nobody there except a local and his dog. It was just so peaceful and beautiful surroundings. There are no facilities on this beach so take some water and shade with you. There is a restaurant at the top of the stairs that has good reviews although we did not find this location until our last day so did not get change to try it. I highly recommed the walk up and down the steep stairs just for a dip in the sea or to enjoy the natural surroundings. Keep it quiet though as want this beach to stay as it is !! :-)…

Stayed about 1km away from this little secluded bay. Children liked looking in the rock pools at low tide and we visited a few times with them but not ideal for swimming with young childeren. I used this little bay as an outdoor gym every other morning to keep the holiday stomach at bay I Was their one morning and saw people had been sleeping in a tent under the cliffs..maybe not a good idea taking into consideration that their are notices warning of rockfalls Loved it…
