From start to finish the experience with Nice Rent was amazing. It is the best car hire company we have ever used. Very easy going & you are not constantly looking over your shoulder because you may be scammed like with the bigger uncaring companies. Anytime we are in Portugal we will be using Nice Rent.

We have just returned from a holiday with friends and family. We rented 3 cars from Nice Rent. The customer service we received was excellent, down to the smallest details that each hire car had 2 fresh mineral waters inside. Rui and his daughter met us in arrivals and completed the paperwork in no time, they were lovely and friendly. We were able to contact Nice Rent to arrange our car drop offs at the departure terminal with Rui and would highly recommend you use Nice Rent if you are looking to hire car from Faro airport. The price will be very competitive and we will certainly use Nice Rent when we return to Faro in the future.

After reading the horror stories of car rentals in the Algarve, it was reassuring to find the Nice Rent website. It was seamless, from ordering online to airport pickup and drop off. Pick up and drop off occurred right outside the airport doors - no shuttling around. Rui and his daughter were amazing! We had the worst case scenario happen to us on a national holiday. We accidentally filled the car with the wrong gas about 45 minutes from Faro (please take note of what type of gas to fill the car with! Gas in Portugal is very confusing and different from the US). We were stopped on the side of the road and gave Rui a call. He was so gracious and kind to us. He immediately called for a tow truck, then drove out to pick us up, as we'd never get a ride back on a national holiday. He put us into another car and only charged us for the gas tank exchange. There is no other rental company that would have gone out of their way like that for us. Nice Rent is exactly what their name says - nice people with great cars and outstanding customer service. You can't do better in the Algarve!

Highly recommended. Can't fault them. Easy meet and pick up. Same with drop off. Car was immaculate. Service perfect with a friendly team. Flights had changed, no problem. Communication was good. I booked a manual by mistake but they were happy to try and change if they could, but we kept the car as it wasn't an issue. No hidden extras, what is quoted is what you pay. More than happy to use again if needing a car again.

Can only confirm all the previous 5* reviews. Excellent experience from start to finish. No pressure to buy extras and car was immaculate. Only issue was a flat battery in the key fob after a few days and even when we got into the car it wouldn’t start. A phone call to the owner resulted in a replacement key within the hour so we could return to our hotel. Otherwise it was a great experience and would recommend them to anyone looking to rent a car at Faro airport.

I hired a car through Nice Rent after reading the reviews on here and we were not disappointed! The service and the car were both first class. The chilled bottles of water in the car on arrival at Faro airport were a nice touch. Can't fault them! We will definitely use Nice again on our return to Faro.

Rui at Nice Rent is incredibly kind and a pleasure to rent from. The cars are in excellent shape, clean and they have fair prices. We will only rent from Nice Rent in the Algarve. Rui is a lovely human being and there is a genuine reason for all of their five star reviews.

Cannot explain how stress free our car rental with Nice Rent has been. We booked three cars for our family holiday and all were in great condition. We were greeted at the arrivals by staff members who had our names on a printed board, cars were parked right outside the airport and as we had the full insurance we did not need to worry about the usual faff of photos of any incidental damage in the cars (of which there was none). Drop off was even easier, we drove to the departures drop off zone right at the airport entrance and handed the keys over to the staff. Thank you for helping with our stress free holiday!
