Beautiful clean sandy beach. Water sports enthusiasts will love it! A few beach bar restaurants dotted along the beach. Water very cold but beautifully clear. Lots of large shells.

Unspoilt wide open space where you can spend a quiet day sunbathing. Water is cold but warms up when tide is high

I don´t know if you mean Paddle Boards or canoes? Becaue there were several canoe tours starting from beaches in Lagos. I did not see Paddle Boards, but I don´t know if there aren´t any.

No, but the train station in Lagos is just a few minutes walk from Meia Praia (and the track passes just behind the beach). However, I agree with Scott M - there are other beaches more accessible from Faro.
