When we first founded our company 21 years ago in Lagos, we already had transformed our first wooden ship into the well known “Via Sagres”. We started something unique; we invented the boat trip from the Doca Pesca in Lagos to the harbour of Sagres, showing off a beautiful coastline, only known to fishermen back then. This has been and still is a huge success, as we continue to be the only company doing it. Many thousands of people have seen it and many are coming back each year to visit again. In the meantime our grotto trip to Ponta da Piedade visting the incredible rock formations of Lagos also became very successful. Our business grew and we transformed yet another boat, this time a steel vessel originally from the Netherlands into our famous “Via Atlântica”. We can easily seat about 70 people on each one, which gives us a lot of flexibility, when it comes to groups. Today we also own three small boats seating about 10 people each, so that our guests have the opportunity to experience the astonishing views inside the caves.

There are probably dozen or more companies doing boat tours to the grottos / caves of Lagos. Most offer a 1 hour tour for about 15 euros. Do not take them. Instead, take the two hour tours, that provide a more relaxing experience, as well...More

Enjoyable but to many people trying to enter the grottoes at one time. Other boats plus our group of aprox twelve kayaks trying to navigate small caves resulted in people bashing into each other o a regular basis. We were told there would be time...More
