We have visited the cultural centre on a few occasions, most recently to view the art exhibition there. We have also attended a few events in the theatre. These events were varied from orchestral, to brass band to installation-type productions. Staff very helpful.

Lovely seaside old-town. Easy to find parking and very pedestrian-friendly. I found it to be much less crowded than some of the other seaside towns, it made for a very nice day exploring.

Beautiful town center. So much history and wonderful to walk the old streets and look at all the history. Recommend to anyone.

We were fortunate to be able to visit this town on a quiet Sunday so we could meander around the streets at our own pace. Plenty to see with a lovely feel to the place. Lots of bars and restaurants where you can sit and...More

We enjoyed very much the town center of Lagos. The streets are cobblestone and clean, with many shops, cafes, and restaurants. Its a great place and very close to a great beach.

We visited Lagos as part of a cruise ship excursion and had free time in town for shopping. We found an array of high quality shops, specializing in cork and other local products. They make absolutely everything from cork: corks, purses, ties, objets d'art, etc....More

During our time in Lagos we have been to many concerts and exhibitions at the Cultural Centre and they have always been of a good standard. These have included Fado, Jazz, Portuguese popular music, and dance. Also Flamenco, but I personally wasn't so keen on...More

We were disappointed not to be able to find a fado concert in town, but this concert, part of a Flamenco weekend, offered an interesting, if not such an appropriate alternative. We weren't sure just how well the combination of a jazz trio and two...More

Lagos center is really scenic with all the different tiles that decorate the walkways. There are lots of shops to explore and of course restaurants. Charming town and not to be missed.

The old town center has a lot of shops, cafes and restaurants, but it's a waste of money to book a tour. A $10 tuk-tuk can do the same thing. Better yet - walk around.
