If I'm honest I didn't think there was much in Vilamoura itself , but, the Marina is definitely the high spot. If youre into boats and yachts , you're in heaven. Around the marina is a huge selection of cafes, restaurants and bars. Perfect for just lazing the days away watching the boatie people doing what they do. Our favourites... More

We walked to Vilamoura Marina whilst staying in nearby Quarteria. The marina was nice but no different to many of the others that we have visited whilst abroad i.e. lots of nice expensive yachts and boats. However unlike most of the others there was nothing authentic at all that we noticed. However if you are looking for an Irish bar... More

Loved this marina! Good range of boats to look at and plenty of places to eat and rink while you watch the boats and people come and go! Very relaxing!

Lovely marina with shops, and loads of restaurants and cafes, bars etc. Spend a while checking out the many "rich dudes" yachts as you sit beside these moored up monster boats in a cool cafe sippling a cool drink or a warming coffee.

Not a lot open this time of year but there is a Santa's grotto and a few restaurants. Very clean and spacious.

You can walk along the whole marina and enjoy drinks and good food. In summer it can be pretty crowded.

I was passing by with my mountainbike and had a look at the harbour. Lots of very nice ships, which never go out the harbour, I think. Around the harour lots of nice restaurant and bars. A nice place to visit, dine and wine.

We visited the marina several times on our recent trip to Portugal. The resort we were staying in was very quiet at this time of the year, so it made a pleasant change of scenery, and was within walking distance.
