Apart from the amazing 360 degrees view (coastline, inland, ...), we came here only two days after the August 2018 wildfires got extinguished after 7 destructive days. The view certainly is worth a visit and a welcome change when you stay in the coastal regions.

Worth coming up here for the views though best enjoyed on a clear bright day. We enjoyed the circular walk, doing it back to front, which meant that the second half was better than the first - rural countryside; cows wearing cowbells in the fields...More

Drove by car up to the top, good roads, free parking, the place has a nice view, but nothing special! A small souvenir shop is placed up there!

The view of the whole Algarve is stunning, it is just a car park with a spring of Monchique's purest water, but well worth a visit.

Hired a moped from Lagos and added a visit to our day out. Well worth it. The road up was windy with great views but nothing compared to the views from the highest point in the Algarve. Be warned, it gets colder the higher up...More

You can drive all the way up to the mountain and there is free parking at the top. The area at the top is not impressive, there is a shop with local products and a snack bar, but the view is nice on a clear...More

Drove here through lovely surroundings & saw lots of storks en route (novelty for us Brits!) The views from the top were amazing - we chose a hot clear day having read the other reviews & were not disappointed. Were pleasantly surprised how cheap the...More
