We had a private tour with Luis, who is an amazing guide and excellent driver. The tour took us off road through the Silves and Monchique mountains climbing all the way to the top of the Monchique Mountains, stopping at various spots including Silves castle .
The views along the way are incredible and can only be seen this way by going off road through the forests.
We had a great lunch of chicken piri-piri in the village as well.
All along the way Luis gave us great commentary about the area, history as well as local farming and cork harvests.
We got to taste some great local honey and a liquor called firewater, made from a local fruit.
This tour is a must if you are in this area.
The views along the way are incredible and can only be seen this way by going off road through the forests.

The whole experience was just fantastic. You can feel off road driving and you can see places that normally you wouldn't be able to see. LuÃs was polite and respectful with very huge manners. Hi knows the history of city so well and hi has bug knowledge about surranding areas. His great guide. Highly recommended.

Luis is the most thoughtful, loving, and cultured guide. He attended every request we had, he spoke to us in our native language (Spanish), he waited for us to have and answered every question.
This jeep tour is an experience like no other, 7 hours of the new sight seeing in Algarve through the woods, we stopped to taste some natural honey and pollen cultivated by Portuguese people, had a delicious lunch and went to highest mountain in Algarve (not to mention that Luis stoped at every corner so that we could take pictures.
This tour is a MUST for anyone in Algarve. It will exceed all expectations.
We want to thank Luis for the best afternoon, for the love he has for his craft and for being so polite, kind and willing to share his knowledge.

We are so lucky that we had the opportunity to spend an amazing, interesting and memorable day with you in the "mountains" of the algarve.

We did a 7 hour tour. Very fun to get off the beaten track with Luis who was engaging and very knowledgable about the towns, history, economy and vegetation.

We did the 7 hours tour to Silves and Monchique and it was just amazing. We choose the self-drive formule and drove a Pajero, our guide Louis drove all the trip in front of us in a separate car. He is a very nice and good guide, he told us many interesting things about the region, its history and vegetation. We drove almost the whole day off-road, with some technical parts too, but all in all it was a very feasible and pleasant trip through a beautiful scenery. We stopped to visit Silves and Monchique and to enjoy breathtaking views.

We took my parents and our children and we all absolutely loved the experience. Luis and his fellow guides were all great. Very informative trip with a mix of off road and city driving. Would recommend to all!

You know you're having fun when you don't stop giggling like a kid the whole time. You initially meet Luis (who has this whole thing completely dialed-in) in town, sort out the vehicle you will be driving and then you head out. Drive through the city streets to a dirt park on the side of the river for what my wife called "testing", just to be sure you can handle the vehicle. Explore a bit further in town and then suddenly you're off-roading, putting your driving abilities to the test! If you've never driven off-road, you're going to love the thrill of each hill climb and steep descents. Unprecedented views, off-the-beaten path attractions, and a great 3-hour journey to parts of the Algarve you would never have seen driving your rental car. Oh, and you even get to drive in a fresh-water river, with water up to the doors. So much fun, exhilarating driving and a seasoned guide who knows how to push your comfort zone. Well worth the 200 euros we spent for our own vehicle. My wife and teenage son had a great time watching me navigate the trails. Thank you Luis for such a memorable journey.

If you’re looking for a thrilling, in-depth tour of the Portimão and surrounding cities then THIS is the best you are going to find! Let me tell you about Luis… not only is Luis a great tour guide/host, he is probably one of the best drivers in Portugal. I don’t want to spoil the experience too much, JUST BOOK IT! #LuisHamilton

5 hours, begins at Club Naval of Portimão, in the city center of Portimão at 9.00h.
We begin with the jeep part toward Silves and visit a Natural Park and can pass through the Silves Castle. Then returned to Portimao to go by boat along the coast to visit the caves.

Thank you for contacting our company. we are a safari jeep company and we dont have quads or side bikes.
We have two different tours; 3 hours to Silves and 7 hours to Monchique. And we have two possibilities, You Drive or We Drive.
The tour You Drive 3 hours to Silves costs 150 € per jeep with 5 people included.
The tour We Drive 3 hours to Silves costs 35 € per person.
The tour You Drive 7 hours to Monchique costs 250 € per jeep with 5 people included, plus 10 € per person for lunch. The tour We Drive 7 hours to Monchique costs 65 € per person with lunch included.
