So many paintings! While some have faded, or been painted over, there are many to see. Some have had multiple visits, by their dates.

There isn't much really to see here other than it being a marina but the painted rocks and stones are pretty cool as I am sure their are some amazing stories and people that have come through this place. You may even see an incredible mega yacht like we did while there. Not really a destination more just a cool... More

While we were there we were introduced to a sailor who had travelled from Antigua in a very small boat. He was having repairs to his rudder before leaving for Spain and England. His painting on the harbour floor was one of many that adourned the footpaths/walls there and were very coloufull. A lot of the usual types of yachts were... More

Interesting view into past visiting sailboats who have traveled to harbor and in many cases returned again of multiple years and in some cases with new boats. Some of the artwork is really good.

This marina is world famous among the sailing crowd and we were able to find a painting from someone we knew! We spent hours walking around, looking at the boats and paintings and talking with the most interesting sailors I have ever met. Its not easy to get there by boat so the stories are thrilling!

As we were staying in horta marina we wandered through a few times. Lots of great graffiti! Really gives a feel of being in a mix of visitors. You can spend 5mins reading the marks left by sailors and the adventurous before they leave for their next port of while away hours.

Well kept clean Marina, pleasant to wander around to view boats and mosaic walls of painting left by boat crews on their journey. A bar offers outside seating, with coffee, drinks and simple food. Next door to the bar is a launderette which also offers the opportunity to swap your books. Nice place in all to relax for a few... More

Spent a couple hours leisurely walking the pier and seeing where sailing visitors have come from to Horta. Some are cleverly painted, other whimsical. Even saw one being painted.

This beautiful old marina offers everything you would exspect to find there and more! Captains of ships from long ago use to paint murals for safe voyages and still today this ever changing landscape carries on the tradition!
